Age of Empires III Patch 1.05

Age of Empires III Patch 1.05 contains the latest updates. This is not a stand-alone patch, meaning you can only get it through the game's menu. Click Help and Tools then click Update Game to get the latest version.

NETWORK AND ESO FIXES

• Custom game setup now shows if a game is rated, not rated, no XP


• Added <escape>, <enter>, mouse wheel scroll and double click functionality to numerous spots in ESO


• Changing #players will unready everyone


• Typing in chat and switching to a different ESO window no longer erases the text


• Many Clan chat fixes


• Clan change, you may only demote someone that is below your rank, you may only promote someone that is two ranks below you


• Two players that do not have their routers properly set up can no longer join the same game.


• Fixed numerous issues with joining and creating a clan

Age of Empires III Patch 1.04

Age of Empires III Patch 1.04 contains the latest updates. Mainly it adds a refresh button a resume button and corrects some bugs and exploits.



According to AgeCommunity these are the bug fixes included in the patch:

1. CLIENT FIXES
   
   
   
   • Update to the patching process which should address difficulties experienced during the autopatch process.
   
   
   • Resume button added. A dialog is now displayed when a user pauses the game.
   
   
   
   


2. NETWORK AND ESO FIXES
   
   
   
   • Changes to Games List functionality. The list is pulled down once on initial login and can be updated by pressing the Refresh button. Automatic updates will no longer occur.
   
   
   • Quickmatch now uses only standard maps.
   
   
   • Home City level now displayed on the Game Start screen.
   
   
   • Clan tags added to the Advanced Game Setup.
   
   
   • Fixed an issue with clan chat not being displayed.
   
   
   • Fixed a game pause issue when a resigned player remained in game.
   
   
   • Removed the exploited ability to split the military and economy scores.
   
   
   • Timeout added to Vote Dialog box.
   
   
   
   

Before installing the patch manually see if you are not able to update the game through the help menu. Click Help and Tools then click Update Game to get the latest patch, which updates the ESO game browser, the patch installation process, and more. If this didn't work then you should download the standalone patch here: Patch 1.04 (released on 19-Jan-2006).

Age of Empires III cheat codes

Well, if you want to play honest you can, but sometimes the game gets frustrating. That's when you need a little "help". Let's say like 10,000 food or coin :).



Anyway, below is a list with cheat codes for Age of Empires III. To make the cheat work, hit the ENTER key and write in the code that you see bolded in the list (press enter afterwise too):

• X marks the spot - Reveals map (fog of war still there)


• Medium Rare Please - Gives 10,000 food


• Give me liberty or give me coin - Gives 10,000 coin


• Nova & Orion - Gives 10,000 XP


• A recent study indicated that 100% of herdables are obese - Fattens all animals on map


• Speed always wins - Turns on 100x gather/build rates


• Sooo Good - Turn on “Musketeer’ed!” when you get killed by Musketeers


• Ya gotta make do with what ya got - Spawns the Mediocre Bombard at your Home City gather point


• <censored> - Gives 10,000 wood


• this is too hard - Win in singleplayer


• tuck tuck tuck - Spawns a big red monster truck that can run over anything

Age of Empires III patch (1.01, 1.02, 1.03)

Age of Empires III patch 1.03 contains the latest fixes and corrections.



According to AgeCommunity these are the bug fixes included in the patches 1.01 to 1.03:

1. Patch 1.03 - Hotfix to Matchmaking
   
   Fixed an issue where a game would be cancelled and all players given a Failed to join message when two routers that could not communicate joined the same game.
   


2. Patch 1.02 - Hotkeys, Large Maps and numerous bug fixes
   
   
   
   • New hotkey editor added to the game
   
   
   • New large map set.
   
   
   • 5 new large versions of popular maps have been added.
   
   
   • Fixed a sound crash issue.
   
   
   • Fixed a bug with sound being choppy

   • Fixed a D3D initialization error when launching the game.
   
   
   • Fixed a bug where the auto-patcher text was impossible to read.

   • Updated a number of error and user messages.
   
   
   • Allow users to turn off enter/left chat messages on ESO.

Before installing these patches see what version you have installed. To find out what version of Age of Empires III is currently installed, click on the Help and Tools button from the main game menu and then the About button. The game version will be listed at the top of the screen.
